How to get there

The Bourdil Blanc is very accessible from the UK.
Ryanair fly from London Stansted, Liverpool and East Midlands direct to Bergerac and Flybe fly from Bristol, Birmingham, Southampton, Exeter and Leeds Bradford to Bergerac. The house is literally 20 minutes from the airport.

There are also direct flights to Bordeaux from London using British Airways (Gatwick) and BMI Babe from Manchester and Air France and Aer Lingus from Dublin. The trip from Bordeaux takes between 1-2 hours to drive depending on the time of day.

Try and book as far in advance as possible to take advantage of lower fares.

From Waterloo International (London) you can either take a train to
(a) Paris Gare du Nord and then cross Paris by metro or cab and take a train from Paris Montparnasse direction Bordeaux, changing at Libourne to then catch a train to Bergerac.
(b) Lille and change to a train to Bordeaux, again getting off at Libourne and changing trains to Bergerac.

Motorrail is also available from the UK to Brive, Bordeaux and Toulouse
